Bridal Shoe Shopping SECRETS:
THE DOS & DONT'S
- Don't buy a shoe that hurts in the store, SIMPLE.
- Don't try and convince yourself they will break in...big mistake.
- Do wear them prior to the wedding to break them in.
- Do purchase your shoes before your first fitting.
- Don't wear a heel height you are not used to normally wearing.
- Do care about the STYLE of the shoe...it is your wedding shoe.
- Do wear a wear a pointy shoe in the fall or winter, a peep toe or sandal for spring and summer.
- Do think about wearing shoes made of fabrics with satin, silk lace, beading or crystal.
- Do consider a strap around the ankle, it is a great for a high heel to keep it secure.
- Do consider wearing gold or silver or a shade darker than the dress.
- Do consider a bold satin color to match your color scheme, just be careful with this.
- Don't feel you need to be perfectly matchy matchy.
- Do consider comfort over STYLE.
- Do have a pair of shoes you have worn many times on hand for the end of the night, especially if you want to consider STYLE over comfort.
- Do not be a barefoot bride on the dance floor, unless you are on the beach.
- Do remember... when all else fails, stick with SIMPLE and elegant!
